‘Galfar Al-Misnad Engineering’ & ‘Galfar Toastmasters’

Galfar Toastmasters is a corporate club chartered on 30th June 2009 with the support and encouragement drawn from
Mr. Satish G. Pillai, Chief Executive Officer of M/s. Galfar Al-Misnad Engineering & Contracting Wll., Doha. Galfar is a leading
reputed Construction and Engineering company in Qatar engaged in construction activities in various segments of MEP,
Infrastructure, Oil & Gas and other Building structures.

Galfar employs more than 2500 employees and we believe, many of the problems that occur in an organization are the direct
result of people failing to communicate. Faulty communication causes the most problems. It leads to confusion and can cause
a good plan to fail. Galfar also believes that ‘Good leaders are made not born’. ‘Communication & Leadership’, considered as
two important skills for organizational success, Galfar has extended all support to form ‘Galfar Toastmasters’ in June 2009 with
23 charter members from the senior and middle management staff. Today it has 34 members and considered as the best new
club in the region.
