World Environment Day is observed on June 5^th of every year to encourage environmental awareness and protection around the world.

UNEP has announced this year’s theme as “Ecosystem Restoration”.  This day reminds every individual, communities, organizations, and industries to provide support in the recovery of ecosystems that have been degraded or destroyed, as well as conserving the ecosystems that are still intact.

For the past eight years, Galfar Al Misnad has held the entire month of June as  “Environment Month 2021”. To educate and promote eco-friendly practices amongst our employees and partners, various activities like plantation drives, awareness sessions, and competitions are planned in the project sites/camps for the month.
