In celebration of World Health Day 2025, Galfar Al Misnad Engineering & Contracting W.L.L. conducted a series of health-focused activities across all its sites and facilities under the global theme, “Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures.” The campaign ran from April 7 to 10, with the goal of promoting preventive care, wellness education, and early health screening for its workforce.
The program commenced with an online awareness session led by Dr. Joji Mathews, a consultant cardiologist, who addressed employees' heart health, lifestyle management, and the importance of early detection. The interactive session witnessed strong attendance and engagement from across the company.
At the Plant Department workshop, Dr. Nikhil Augustine from Reyada Medical Centre delivered a face-to-face health seminar, drawing full attendance from the workforce. The session covered essential topics on general well-being and included a Q&A segment, making it both practical and impactful.
In addition, awareness campaign sessions were conducted across all Galfar project sites and facilities, led by HSE teams and medical partners. These sessions addressed mental health, nutrition, hydration, and healthy lifestyle choices. Over 5,000 employees participated in these initiatives, reflecting strong engagement across the organization.
The campaign concluded with a comprehensive on-site health screening at the Dukhan Project, where 161 employees underwent vital checks and doctor consultations through a fully equipped mobile clinic provided by Aster Medical Center.
This company-wide effort demonstrates Galfar Al Misnad’s ongoing commitment to workforce well-being and its proactive approach to creating a safe and health-conscious workplace.
