Building Services

The Building & MEP Division provides diverse building construction services to major sectors involved in the development of Qatar. Our consistent performance in delivering building projects of high value to clients has earned us many significant contracts over the years.

We now engage in the construction of a wide variety of buildings from commercial, industrial and residential properties to highly specific buildings such as oil and gas process plants and substations.

The Division has two sub units: Building and Building Services (MEP).

STRENGTHS AND CAPABILITIES

Our strict abidance to quality and safety standards, along with the Galfar pedigree for providing innovative construction solutions, enabled our rapid growth into a chosen contractor among various government agencies in Qatar.

Such that we:

  • Conduct heavy civil works for Oil & Gas Process Plants and Petrochemical Projects, on account of our company’s long standing reputation as a dependable contractor in the sector.
  • Are a pre-qualified and shortlisted contractor in the Health and Education sector for Ashghal, the Public Works Authority in Qatar.
  • Are approved as a GSAS- Service Provider from GORD, with the requisite professionals to handle GSAS/LEED projects.
  • Are prequalified for providing façade solutions for all the land mark projects in Qatar, including Q-Rail, and Stadiums.

Building Services:

  • Works related to HVAC from window air-conditioners to central cooling systems.
  • Fire-fighting and fire alarm systems.
  • Plumbing works related to hot and cold water systems, foul water, and drainage systems.
  • Cooling water piping including large diameters (25mm to1500mm or more).
  • Large pumping installations for cooling water systems.
  • Engineers are certified from UPDA/ MMUP as per latest government regulations in Qatar.

Aluminum Façade Solutions
Galfar Al Misnad’s Façade Solutions is an independent business unit which operates under the Building Division. We provide market leading aluminum façade solutions to the construction sector. Our large factory is equipped with state of the art machinery, technology, and skills.

Formwork and Scaffolding Works
Galfar Al Misnad Formwork & Scaffolding Works is another independent business unit under the Division. We work with strategic expert partners in the formwork and scaffolding sector, and house our own engineering and structural steel fabrication facilities. We also possess a substantial inventory of cutting edge formwork & scaffolding systems.
