Various articles in the local media on Galfar Al Misnad’s successful COVID management strategy that has kept the number of cases in the company low and also ensured an almost totally vaccinated workforce. Congratulations to Mr. Navaneetha Shetty, HOD QHSE Division; Mr. Venkatesan Kulandaivelu, Corporate HSE Manager; and the entire HSE team for their persistent efforts in mitigating the effects of the pandemic on the company. A very special mention has to be made to the company’s medical team, which coordinated and implemented the vaccination drive with the public health officials. They also ensured the timely testing, necessary treatment, quarantine, and regular follow up for all our employees during the pandemic. Congratulations to Dr. Abdul Vadood, Mr. Rahul, and their team for their dedicated efforts to safeguard the health of all Galfarians. The support and commitment of all employees, senior management, and all stakeholders has further ensured our success thus far. However, the virus continues to evolve and circulate in new forms, hence utmost care will be taken by all to continue to adhere to all COVID protocols, as advised by the MoPH.
