Galfar Toastmasters Club conducted a unique Meeting to honor veteran Galfar Toastmasters on the 28th of May 2024. These veteran Galfar toastmasters contributed to the overall success of the club for the last fifteen years. Due to their consistent effort GTM became the best corporate club in the country. During this decade TM John Henry won divisional International speech contest multiple times.

To commemorate this occasion the GTM fraternity was thrilled to have the presence of   the esteemed past International President of Toastmasters International, DTM Lark Doley as the keynote speaker. DTM delivered a captivating speech on the century-long history of Toastmasters International, which is lucidly phenomenal.

In a gesture of gratitude, our beloved Executive Director, Mr. Satish G Pillai, presented a poster created by TM Ravindran C to DTM Lark Doley. ED underlined his vision to originate the formation of the club with the intent to benefit employees and the organization. The session culminated with a Vote of Thanks by our VP Education, TM Faisudheen Kannoth. In attendance at the conclave were dignitaries, including Founder Member and Dy. GM (V&E) TM Anwar Sadath, Divisional Manager TM Aparna, Area 3 Director TM Poonam and GTM President Subramanya Hebbagelu.

Galfar has been recognized with three international safety awards along with the "Best in Country" title from the British Safety Council for the year 2023.

2.Roads and Infrastructure in Al Wajba East-Package 01 & 03 - DW016-P01 & P03 (Ashghal – Galfar Al Misnad): Merit Winner

3.EPIC for Route Survey, Design Construction, Installation & Hook-up of Well flow Lines in Dukhan Fields, Part -A (2019-2022): Distinction Winner and won the Best in Country Award (Qatar)

This the ninth time Galfar has received this international safety award while the Al Wajba Project has been honored for the third consecutive year. The Flowline Project has received recognition for the first time with a Distinction and esteemed Best in Country title.

Galfar AL Misnad wins the RoSPA Health & Safety – Gold Award for the year 2023. Congratulations Team #GalfarAlMisnad for winning this prestigious Health & Safety award for the third consecutive year. The Royal Society for Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) is a non-profit organization based in the UK that recognizes organizations worldwide for their efforts in Health & Safety. Congratulations to our entire team, and in particular our QHSE Division for astutely leading the company's HSE strategy and instilling best practices in health and safety at all our sites and offices.

This award serves as a reaffirmation of our founding motto of Safety First. May this motivate us to continue to maintain and improve the HSE standards in all our operations.

The Ministry of Labour in Qatar recognized Galfar Al Misnad's consistent efforts towards protecting the #healthandsafety of our employees in the work place at an event organized by the Ministry to observe the World Day for Safety and Health At Work, which is commemorated on April 28th every year.

Our Executive Director Mr. Satish G Pillai & Senior General Manager Mr. Hemachandran received the award from the Qatar Minister of Labour, His Excellency Dr Ali bin Saeed bin Smaikh Al Marri, at the event.

This is a great honour for Galfar Al Misnad, as we have been working on very challenging projects in a vast range of sectors in the country for more than 26 years, and mostly engage with direct manpower. Such recognition reaffirms our commitment towards safety and is a motivation for the team to do even better. We congratulate Mr. Navaneetha Shetty, Head of QHSE, Mr.Venkatesan K, Corporate HSE Manager, and their team for this success, and for ensuring that Health, Safety and Environment regulations are always complied with across the company.
